HEAVY GALE
DAMAGE AT OPOTIKI (From Our Own Correspondent) OPOTIKI, To-day. Considerable damage was done on Monday night and yesterday at Opotiki' by a heavy gale, which practically levelled the maize crops throughout Opotiki district. Fruit trees also suffered heavily from the wind. The storm caused a breakdown In the electric supply early in the evening, but yesterday morning the service was restored -
