PEDESTRIANS INJURED

STRUCK BY CARS Two pedestrians were inured by motor-cars last evening. Henry Sherborn, a builder, of Petone, Wellington, stepped from the pavement at the corner of Vulcan Lane to board a tramcar shortly after 7.45 p.m. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital suffering from severe internal injuries and an injury to the right leg. His condition is fairly serious. A fracture of the leg resulted when John Reimer, aged 22, of 40 Spring Street, Morningside, was struck by a motor-car in Western Springs Road.
