JANUARY RATES EXCEEDED RANGE OF PRICES (From Our Own Correspondent) NAPIER, Tuesday. Practically the whole of a catalogue of 2 9 654 bales was disposed of under the hammer at the fourth Napier wool sale, which concluded to-day. Compared with January rates fine Romney was id to one penny higher, medium to coarse longwool showed an advance of at least 2d, while lambs’ wool improved lid to 2d. Generally prices equalled, and in odd cases exceeded, those ruling at recent sales m other centres. The range of prices was:— d. d.
