BISHOP OF MELANESIA. —The Bishop of Melanesia, Bishop Moly- 1 neux, has arrived in Sydney, on his way to New Zealand. —A. and N.Z. AUSTRALIANS HONOURED-Sub-Lieutenants R. J. Hodge and W. H. Harrington, of the Australian Navy, have been appointed to the new battleship Rodney.—A. and N.Z. GASTRIC ENTERITIS.-—Two children, aged three years and IS months, respectively, sons of Mrs. Costick, of Wybong, 194 miles north-west of Sydney. died of gastric enteritis after having eaten part of a watermelon. — A. and N.Z. FLIGHT TO PANAMA.—The American dirigible Los Angeles left Lakehurst, New Jersey, on Sunday on an attempted non-stop flight to Panama. The airship was reported this evening 300 miles north-east of Nassau, in the ! Bahamas.—A. and N.Z.-Sum
