COASTAL MOVEMENTS— At four o’clock this evening the Union Company’s chartered steamer Waimea is to be dispatched from Auckland for Gisborne and Napier. The Kaituna sails at eleven o’clock this evening for Greymouth to load for Wellington and Napier. At five o’clock this evening the Kaponga is to be dispatched for Portland to load cement for New Plymouth, Wellington and Lyttelton. The Kaitangata is expected to complete the discharge of her local cargo at Prince’s Wharf this evening, and is scheduled to sail at 11 p.m. for Grevmouth to load for Adelaide and Melbourne. To-morrow afternoon the Kanna is to sail from Auckland for Greymouth, where she loads for Wellington. The Kaiapoi is scheduled to leave Greymouth to-day for Auckland. The Kurow is reported to have sailed from Oamaru at six o’clock last evening, en route from Port Craig to Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. The Awahou, which arrived at Auckland last evening from the East Coast, sails at 11 o’clock this evening on her return trip to Hick’s Bay, Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne. The Mako, from the East Coast, via Portland, arrives here this evening, and is to leave at 3 p.m. to-morrow on her return trip to East Coast bays, Napier, Waikokopu and Wairoa. The Elsie Mary arrived at Auckland last evening from Gisborne, and leaves to-mor P \v on her return trip. The i’iroa is sailing from Auckland shortly after noon to-day, on her return trip to Hick’s Bay and Gisborne. The Taniwha, sailing from Auckland at 5 p.m. to-day for Paeroa, returns here at 10 o’clock to-morrow evening. The Claymore sails at 4 o’clock this afternoon for Whangarei, and is due back at Auckland at 3.30 a.m. on Thursday. The Toa is sailing from Auckland early this afternoon for Whakatane. The Otimai was unable to leave yesterday and was to sail at 11 a.m. to-day for ICutarere and Opotiki. The Rangitoto arrives here this afternoon at 4 o’clock from Thames, and sails at 9.30 a.m. to-morrow on her return trip. The Hauiti is due here this evening at 6.30 o’clock from Colville and Coromandel, and sails to-morrow at 6 p.m. for Kopu and Turua. The Kawau returns to Auckland at 7 p.m. to-day from Matakana and way ports, and leaves to-morrow at 11 a.m. for Kawau, Takatu Point, Little and Big Omaha. The Apanui arrives at Auckland tomorrow at 6 a.m. from Mercury Bay and ports, and sails at midnight for the Great Barrier. The Matangi is due at Auckland at 7 a.m. to-morrow, and leaves at 7 o’clock the sme evening on her return trip to Tauranga. v The Waipu arrives here at 8 a.m. on Thursday from Kerepeehi, and leaves the same day at 8 p.m. on her return trip.
