MUST TAKE WIVES
“T HAVE noticed that cricketers x and footballers never take their wives when they go touring,” said the Mayor, Mr. G. Baildon, at the civic reception tendered the visiting South \ustralian bowlers in the Town Hall this morning. “But bowlers have reached a more mature age, and they are not allowed to go without their wives, who have to look after them,” he added.
