POULTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS
ALLOTTED TO ONEHUNGA I At the annual meeting of the Onehunga Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Club held last evening it was announced that the North Island Poultry Association had allocated to Onehunga the task of holding the next championship show on June 14 and 15 next. The offer was accepted, and judges will be announced at a subsequent meeting. A satisfactory balance sheet of last j year's show was adopted. Receipts; were given at £204 and the expenditure ’ £159, leaving a credit balance of £45. Assets over the liabilities amounted to £225. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: Patron, Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P.; vice-patrGns, Messrs. W. C. Coldicutt, John Rowe and Isaac Lomas; president, Mr. J. Ayling; vicepresidents, Messrs. E. Burt, W. J. : Brewin, J. Nixon, J. Simpson, N. Jamie- | son, E. Wrigley, R. J. Roberts and W. Hanson; secretary and treasurer, Mr. F. !A. Skinner; auditor, Mr. E. W r rigley; committee (poultry). Messrs. F. Langton, I. Ball. H. E. Welham, F. Denize, W. Bailej*, R. J. Roberts, A. J. McLean, J. Mason, A. Mainland, A. Harvey, E. Burt and J. Ayling; (canaries), Messrs. M. Jamieson and T. Mason; (pigeons), Messrs. T. Sparks, G. R. Munro and C. A. Sase.
