GEE AND MCDOUGALL HIT OUT After a disastrous start against Grafton at Eden Park on Saturday afternoon University compiled a good score of 188 to which Grafton had replied with four wickets for 78 runs before stumps were drawn. A SPLENDID RECOVERY .The first five wickets fell for only 34 runs and the Grafton bowlers appeared to have the batsmen thinking. Horspool and Goodwin were both bowling well and keeping the runs down. McDougall joined Gee, who had twice narrowly missed being caught before reaching double figures, and runs came more freely.
