Knocked Down by Car.—A single man. David Thompson, aged 55. of 70 Cook Street, City, was knocked down by a motor-car in Karangahape Road on Saturday evening. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital with a fracture of the right elbow and injuries to lilis ribs.
