CLARA’S RED HAIR

BLACK IN FILM Clare Bow, Paramount star, has hair which is a flaming red colour. Red hair photographs black, therefore Miss Bow though a blonde, appears on the screen as a brunette. The producers at Paramount’s Holly - wod studio were so impressed with the shade of Miss Bow’s hair that a special story was written by Elinor Glyn, and is being filmed under the title of “Red Hair,” this picture is now nearing completion. The leading man, Lane Chandler, and Jacqueline Gadston. another member of the cast, have red hair also. Clarence Badger is directing. The first scenes were shot in technicolour. The unusual reddish hue of Miss Bow’s hair was caught and perfectly recorded on this film.
