BUS IN CATTLE STOP

ACCIDENT AT HOPU HOPU On the way back from Hamilton to Auckland early on Saturday morning, a motor-bus went through the cattlestops and into the pit below at a railway crossing near the Hopu Hopu military camp. A man was sent along the line to an approaching train, and when it came up, its engine was used to drag the damaged bus from the line.
