The Paris correspondent of “The Times” says a public air mail service from Toulouse to Buenos Aires via Senegal, Fernando do Noronha, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro and Montevideo will be inaugurated on March 1. Monoplanes equipped with 350 horsepower engines will cover the section to St. Louis, Senegal, flying with two 350 horse-power engines the section to Cape Verde, a fast steamer to Fernando do Noronha and land machines for the remainder of the journey. There will be one mail a week each way. The journey will occupy seven and a-half days. It is hoped to make it in four and a-half days when night flying is practicable.—Times.
