YOUNG PETERWAHS

■OROGENY of that great and handsome trotter Peterwah are making their appearance in this province and it is safe to predict that later on they will also make their presence felt. Enawah, the daughter of Ena Bell, who was the crack two-year-old last season, has gone to Te Awamutu under the care of A. W. Broughton, having been purchased by Mr. Wilfred Johnstone. Etta Cole, who is owned by Mr. F. J. Docherty and trained by J. T. Paul at Mangere, is a promising trotter, who will do well when she becomes more seasoned. Those good sports, Bridgen Bros., have purchased the Peterwah —Medway colt, previously referred to in THE SUN, and the handsome racy-looking two-year-old is now in H. Kinnimont’s stable at Royal Oak. A. Sheppard, the well-known Epsom enthusiast, has a fine-looking yearling also by the American - bred sire that in appearances and manners is a credit to the aristocratic family.
