RIFLE EXPLODES
farmer seriously injured (From Our Own Correspondent) TAIHAPE, To-day. A farmer named E. Parson, living -Mungaweka, was admitted to the Taihape Hospital on Thursday suffering from injuries received in a shooting accident. Mr. Parson had just gone through a Kata on his horse and was picking up •is rifle, which he had stood against ¥ Post, when it went off. The bullet entered his hand, through his arm, and WUo his chin, finally coming out just **low his ear. In spit© of his injuries he drove his Far for two miles before getting help.
