She carried a bouquet of ; scarlet carnations, sweet peas and fern, j The bridegroom’s mother wore a ; handsome frock of black georgette over mauve, relieved with white georgette, and a black hat with white osprey mount, and carried a bouquet of mauve scabious and sweet peas. Mrs. Wm. Garton, sister of the bri*de, wore a frock of black taffeta with tight-fitting bodice and a deep band of cream lace in the full skirt, and a black hat lightened by a white posy on the wide brim. She carried a bouquet of scarlet sweet peas and gypsophilia. When the bride left on her wedding tour she was wearing a model winecoloured jumper suit, the skirt being of finely-pleated crepe de chine, and the jumper of chenille cloth, finished with small gold buttons, and a narrow belt of chenille. Her chic little hat was of crinoline straw with small ornament in front. She carried a marmot fur coat.
