THEFT FROM EMPLOYER
YOUNG MAN’S LAPSE At the Hamilton Magistrate’s Court yesterday, a young man, James Park, aged 20 years, admitted having stolen £9 18s 9d from his employer. Accused had been brought to New Zealand by the Salvation Army, and had been employed for the last 12 months by Renton Bros., of Hautapu. He was dismissed, but before leaving, stole the money. He was remanded until Monday, the magistrate, Mr. Wyvern Wilson, remarking that he would like a report from the Salvation Army as to Park’s character.
