AUSTRALIA’S TEAM By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. SYDNEY, Friday. TJq Australian Olympic Federation has definitely chosen the following team of 10 members to represent Australia at the next Olympic Games: ScuMing,— H. R. Pearce. Boxing.—A. E. Ford (bantam and feather-weight). Wrestling.— T. P. Bolger (light-weight). Swimming.—A. Charlton (400 and 1,500 metres free style); T. Boast (backstroke) and Miss E. Davey (400 metres free style).

Athletics.—J. Carlton (100 and 200 metres), C. Stuart (400 and 800 metres), W. Whyte (800 and 1,500 metres), R Hyde (5,000 and 10,000 metres). The. federation has also recommended that the following b© sent in the order named, as funds come in: Swimming, Miss B. Mealing; wrestling, T. H. Morris; cycling, J. Standen and D. Gray; athletics, E. M. Davidson; women’s sprint, Miss E. Robinson; swimming, R. Grier and E. W. Jones. The last-named two were added contingent upon it being decided to send a swimming team. Altogether 21 names were recommended by sub-committees and it is likely that all will be sent if the funds for which the federation has commenced a drive are forthcoming. All are available. Mr. Les. Duff, a wellknown sportsman, has been chosen as manager to the team.—A. and N.Z.
