>lr. A- G- Henderson, of the “Lyttelton Times,” has been elected chairman - the Press Association for the present year. W. Grounds, chairman of the \ e w Zealand Dairy Produce Control Board, is in Auckland. }f r W. Robert Johnson, the New Zealand painter, was a passenger from vuckland by the Ulimaroa to-day. Mr. A. W. Mouatt, a member of the Railway Board, who has been in Auckland, ha* returned to Wellington. Mr. W. R- P- Moody, of Auckland, has been admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court by Mr. Justice Blair. The Hon. A. D. McLeod, Minister of Lands, has returned to Wellington after a tour of the Northern King Country. Captain A. Cooper, of England, who has been deep-sea fishing at Russell, has returned to Auckland. He is at the Hotel Cargen. Mr. D. Rodie, Commercial Manager of the New Zealand Railways, who has been inspecting the commercial activities of the department in this district, has left on his return to Wellington. Mr. E- J. Gravestock, the well-known impressario, is returning to New Zealand from New York by the Niagara, due at Auckland on Monday. He will be accompanied by Mrs. Gravestock. Mr. H. A. Penn, district traffic manager at Ohakune, has been appointed traffic assistant to the North Island divisional superintendent in succession to 3lr. B. R.
