JOKE GOES ASTRAY The miscarrying of a practical ;okled to the appearance of five youths is the Pukekohe Court on Wednesday fore Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M. The offender: were: Bavid Fulton, John Eyre, Ainsle? Eyre, J. Leo Lindberg and Archibald Bell. They were charged with wilfully damaging a motor-car, the property of E. S. Coutts. of Pukekohe, to the extent of £ll 10s. A plea of guilty was entered, couns* 1 stating that it was all due to a practical joke at the conclusion of a P** 1 ' at Pukekawa, but unfortunate y tbe wrong car was removed. The def'srf* ants intended pushing a friend s car into a clump of bushes, but insbead 1 was Coutte’s car. The damages, 10s, had been defrayed. The information was dismissed on the payment of court costs.
