BANKS V. N.Z. DAIRY CO. (From Our Own Correspondent) TE AWAMUTU, Thursday. A tennis match that created some interest was played on Wednesday between teams representing the Te Awamutu banks and the New Zealand Dairy Company. An interesting match resulted in the banks winning by 74 games to 50. Results are as follow: Singles.—Taylor, D, v. Adams, 2; McCallum 8, v Wilcox, 9; Shepherd, 7, v. Ward, 9; Walsh, 9, v. Roberts, 5, Lord, 6, v. Findsen, 3; Carlsen, 9, v. Smart, 3. Doubles.—Taylor and McCallum, 8, v. Adams and Wilcox, 9; Shepherd and Walsh, 9, v. Roberts and Ward, 4; Carlsen and Lord, 9, v. Findsen and Smart, 6.
