\[22. R. G. CLARK can well b> termed one of Auckland's lead ing commercial men.

Born and educated in Auckland, Mr. Clark started out on his business career icith the grocery firm of David Robertson. Later, when the firm extended its activities, he was taken into the partnership of Robertson Bros., as it was then styled, and until he retired a few years ago took an active part in the wholesale and retail trade of this city. To-day he is a member of the directorate of several highly successful commercial concerns and has promoted three of Auckland's most popular subdivision schemes. Apart from his business interests Mr. Clark has been actively connected icith local body politics. He has held the position of chairman of the One Tree Hill Road Board for the last ten years, and has been a member of the Auckland Bower Board since its inception.
