The outer suburban inter-club match. East Tamaki v. Clevedon, which had been postponed earlier in the season, resulted in a surprise victory for East Tamaki. Women's Singles.—Miss A. Ferguson beat Miss Walsh, 6—2, 6—3; Miss M. Hill beat Miss Stephens, 6—l, 3—6, 6 —3. Men s Doubles.—D. Jones and D. Knight beat Alexander and McDonnell, 6—3, 6—5; C. Preston and C. Hill lost to Crisp and Bull, 6—5, 4—6, I—6. Women’s Doubles.—Misses A. Ferguson and A. Hill beat Misses Walsh and Stephens, 3—6, 6—3, 6—3: Misses E. Hill and E.
