Station Director To Leave
NO REASON GIVEN FOR DECISION
A FURTHER change in the staff at IYA Broadcasting Station, Auckland, is announced to-day, Mr. Trevor Stringer, who was appointed station-director several months ago, having been relieved of his position.
rpo a Sun representative this morning Mr. Trevor Stringer said he regretted being unable to give any reason for this action, none having been given to him. The Auckland station has now been
operating for approximately IS months, and during that period several staff changes have been made. These have
concerned four station directors, an announcer and the chief operator, Mr. R. J. Orbell, B.E. (Elect.), A.M.1.E.E,, whose resignation was recently tendered and accepted. Mr. S. J. Hayden, from the Wellington station, is at present acting as station director at IYA.
