ADVICE ON THE BACK
SLOGANS IN AMERICA The habit of tacking a strip of lettered tin on the back of a car offerin'free advice or invitations to the following driver has not found many admirers in New Zealand, but in the U.S.A it has created a new outlet for the energies and brain-waves of the sloganers. Some new ones recently seen on the road in San Francisco are:
“Chickens, here’s your coupe." “Danger. 20,000 jolts.” “Pass me, I’m a nervous wreck.” “Peaches, here’s your can.” “Speed on. big boy. Hell ain’t half full.”
