FUNERAL OF MR. R. C. CARR
The funeral of the late Mr. R. C. Carr left his late residence yesterday for the Purewa Cemetery. Canon Haselden. who had known Vr. Carr for over 60 years, conducted the service at the graveside. Other old friends and business associates present included Sir Edwin Mitriielson, Messrs. J. A. Pond, Charles Rhodes, representing the New Zealand Insurance Company directorate, and A. J. Johns, representing the general manager, and G. Winstone, P. Winstone and G. Fleming, representing the Northern Boot Company.
