REFEREE’S STRENUOUS NIGHT.— In the boxing contest between Mat. Hatton and Frank Taylor at the Town Hall last evening, the referee, Mr. W. A. Johnston, forced the two men to break at least 12 times in one round. Hatton “K.o’d” Taylor in the eighth round.
