FERRY PASSENGERS MISSING By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. SAN FRANCISCO, Saturday. Mora than 20 passengers were washed off the deck of a ferry steamer, the Peralta, yesterday in San Francisco bay. The cause of the accident was the dipping of the vessel’s bow. At first it was believed that all those who were washed overboard had been drowned, but it is now stated that the majority were rescued. Seven persons are to-day reported to be missing.—A. and N.Z.-Sun.
