COURSING IN ENGLAND By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. Reed. 12.30 p.m. LONDON, Friday. The Waterloo Cup resulted in Mrs. S. Whitburn’s Whitecollar beating Sir J. Humphrey’s Hastings.
Mrs. Whitburn is the first woman owner to carry oft' the Cup, although the Countess of Sefton nominated her husband’s winner in 1921.—A. and N.Z.
