Grateful Readers Acknowledge Help of Sun Free Insurance

OVER £I,OOO DISTRIBUTED TO DATE

SINCE The Sun inaugurated free insurance of its readers in July last, about 100 claims for compensation arising out of accidents, have been dealt with and settled. We have received many letters gratefully acknowledging the timely assistance of the cheque from The Sun.

A subscriber writes: “I have received your welcome cheque and wish to thank you sincerely for forwarding it . . I shall always be glad to recommend your paper . . . \V< prefer it to any other.”

Another writes: “I am writing to thank you for the prompt payment ... I think everybody should be insured betaking The Sun.”

A country reader says: “I thank your company very much indeed for cheque, which was a big help while T was laid off work.”

Albert E. Borland, 5 Cameron Street. Devonport, fish curer, bicycle accident, £5.

George Joseph Davis, 14 Haig Street, Frankton, tyre salesman, bicycle ac cident, £5.

Arthur Dickinson, 14 Ligar Place, Grafton, labourer, injured in collision with taxi, £3 6s Bd.

Harry Meyer, 15 Nolan Road Green Lane, shopkeeper, Injured by falling from motor-cycle, £5.

Wallace Broadhurst, 38 Cameron Street, Onehuriga, painter, injured at, cricket, £3 6s Sd.
