PUKEKOHE PIONEER
DEATH OF MRS. SARAH BEATTY One of the pioneers of the Pukekohe district, Mrs. Sarah Beatty, died recently aged SB. Born in Ireland, she came to New Zealand in 1866. Soon after arrival, she married Mr. Brittain Beatty, settling on a farm at Pukekohe, 57 years ago. She is survived by two sons and a daughter.
