FAREWELL TEA
Mrs. T. Mahoney, of Market Hoad, Remuera, was the hostess at a delightful little afternoon tea party yesterday, given in farewell to Mrs. E. Drury, of Christchurch, who is returning home after a visit to Auckland, and Mrs. Hugh Thompson and Mrs. James Hill, who are leaving Auckland today, en route for an extended tour of England and the Continent. Among Mrs. Mahoney's guests were: —Mrs. Palairet, Mrs. Hume, Mrs. Streater, Mrs. Wallnutt, Mrs. Moir, Mrs. Pilling, Mrs. Pabst. Mrs. Hill, Mrs. Thompson, Mrs. Upton, Mrs. C. C. Beale, Miss R. Thompson, and Miss Wallnutt.
