Snedden Will Captain the Auckland XI.
Veteran To Lead Against Australians PLAYERS FOR PRACTICE The Auckland Cricket Association selectors, Messrs. E. C. Beale, G. B. Cummings and N. C. Snedden, have chosen the following players to practice at Eden Park on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, commencing on Tuesday next, the 21st inst: A. Anthony, S. A. R. Badeley (Waikato), E. H. Bowloy, I. W. Cooper, H. D. Gillespie, W. Hendy, E. Hors pool, J. Lang ridge, A. M. Matheson, A. S. Player, A. J. Postles, R. W. Rowntree, N. C. Snedden and G. L. Weir. At the request of his co-selectors, N. C. Snedden has consented to play against the Australians and captain the Auckland eleven.
