In connection wfith the experiment of having one of bis arteries removed recently made by Dr. Adophe Abrahams, of Westminster Hospital, his brother, H. M. Abrahams, the famous athlete, expresses the opinion that the real danger in the strenuous life of athletic competition is psychological in effect. “When you go in for four of five years of competitions of one kind and another you are in the public eye and always wondering whether you are going to beat the other fellow.
