FLOODS IN N.S.W. —Heavy rains In the northern districts caused floods at Armidale. The lower part of the town was inundated and the residents were forced to leave their houses. , The gasworks were flooded and the town is without light. Severe damage was done to property. Rain also caused heavy damage to crops in the Glen Innes district.—A. and N.Z.
