SCHOOLGIRL’S MURDERER EXECUTION ON APRIL 27 *v Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. Received 11.51 a.m. LOS ANGELES. Tuesday.

The youth, William Edward Hickman was sentenced to death to-day for the murder of Marion Parker, the 12yea r - old daughter of a Los Angeles banker. He will be hanged on - April 27. Hickman went pale, but otherwise showed no emotion at the passing of the sentence. A motion for a new trial was denied.—-A. and N.Z.-Sun. A message last Thursday stated that the Jury returned a verdict to the effect that Hickman was sane at the time of the kidnapping of the Sirl and of the murder. The Judge had previously intimated that he would sentence the youth to death if it was decided that he was sane.
