BEACH SECTIONS SOLD

£1,122 FOR QUARTER. ACRE FERRY COMPANY’S PURCHASE Two sections, each approximately a quarter-acre in area, part of the Takapuna Beach Estate, were sold this morning, and realised £1,122 each. This property, which is familiary known to the public as “The Ferry Company’s Paddock,” and which was sold by the company about three years ago, is the site of the old wharf at Takapunsf, and very close to the beach. The purchaser in each case was the Devonport Steam Ferry Company. Taken at a frontage of 60 feet to the quarter-acre, this price would work out at approximately £lB 14s a foot—a respectable price for beach frontages. The sale was conducted by Messrs. Richard Arthur, Ltd.
