DARGAVILLE BRANCH That the Plunket Society is very much alive in the Dargaville district is shown by the following report of the local nurse for January:—New cases for month (babies only) 7; Mothers 7; expectant 3; total 17. Visits paid to rooms: adults 112, children 109, total, 221. Visits paid to homes, towns 60, Country 49. Lettei*s written 12; received 8; milk-making shown 5. Out stations visited Te Kopuru 4, Ruawai 2,-Puke-huia 2, Aratapu 2, Tangawahine 1, Toka Toka 1, Duck Creek 1. The health of the majority of the babies has been good.
