THEFT AT DARGAVILLE
EXHIBITS IN COURT LIKE A GENERAL STORE Press Association. DARGAYILLE, To-day. Joseph J. Letica, a young married man, was charged at the Police Court this morning with breaking and entering W. G. Hyland’s general store on or about November 25. 192.7, and stealing a sum of money amounting to £8 15s 6d. As other charges are pending a remand was granted for seven days. The courthouse this morning presented the appearance of a general store. The floor was strewn with ail sorts of merchandise. In view of a number of petty thieving cases during the past twelve months some interesting developments are ‘ expected.
