SPURNED MAN’S MISDEED DISPERSING DULL CARE Feeling tired and thirsty, William Henry Munday went into an unoccupied house and quenched his thirst with borrowed wine. He pleaded guilty at the Police Court to-day to a charge of being illegally on the premises. Chief-Detective Hammond said that accused had gone to Swanson to see his wife, but she would have nothing to do with him. He then went into a house, had a drink of wine, and played the gramaphone. Munday was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence ywithin 12 months.
