Boy Fractures Leg.—When playing at school yesterday afternoon, Eric Willis, aged 10. of Great South Road. Papatoetoe, fell and fractured his left leg. He was admited to the Auckland Hospital, and he is reported to be in a satisfactory condition. Rowing Boat Adrift.—With rowlocks and oars aboard, a slate-coloured rowing boat was picked up off Crusoe Island by the Northern Cov.’s motorvessel Waiuku last Thursday and brought up to the wharf. The rowing boat is in good order and is now in the company’s shed awaiting an owner.
