LABOUR TO ATTEND
ARBITRATION CONFERENCE Press Association. WELLINGTON. Friday. The conference of Labour representatives called by the Alliance of Labour and the Trades and Labour Federation, decided by an over-whelm-ing majority to be represented at the meeting which is being called by the Government to consider the arbitration system. The following were elected to represent the Labour movement: —Messrs. J. Roberts, W. Bromley, T. Bloodworth, F. R. Cook, R. Fulton, A. Parlane, J. Tucker, W. Nash, A. Cook, J. I. Johns, R, Brooks, W. Herbert, W. J. Rogers, J. Thorn, F. Cornwell, O. Mcßrine, H. Worrall, J. Robinson, J. Churchhouse., T. D. Byrne, R. Semple, R. Kennedy, J. Purtell H. C. Revell and A. Black. In addition to the unions affiliated to the alliance, several unaffiliated unions and organisations that are not registered under the Industrial, Conciliation and Arbitration Act were represented at the conference. The total number of workers represented was estimated at. 107,000.
