Home of the Big Rainbow Trout The largest trout in any New Zealand waters are to be had in Okataina. Ask the Tourist Department where they obtain all their specimen fish for the various Exhibitions. Larger and better fish have been caught at Okataina than ever in Taupo. You ao not require to wade, there are special boats for fly fishing, and a first-class launch for trawling.
