FIRE IN ENGINE ROOM (From Our Oivn Correspondent) CAMBRIDGE, To-day. The Cambridge Dairy Company’s Pukeroro cheese factory had a narrow escape from being destroyed by fire shortly after 7 last night. The outbreak occurred in the en gine-room, but was discovered by a factory employee before it got a good hold, and with the aid of a bucket brigade the fire kas eventually checked, after damaging a wall and the roof of the engine-room, the dam*f e being about ££2o. The factory Plant is insured for £5,100 in the South British office. •
