DUNEDIN SESSIONS Press Association. DUNEDIN, Friday. At the Supreme Court to-day, before Mr. Justice Sim, John Miller was charged that at Owaka on or about October 29, he indecently assaulted two girls under the age of 16, and charged alternately with common as r suit. He was found not guilty and was discharged. George Thomas Burgess, charged with indecent assault at Green Island on December 27, respecting a girl under the age of 16, was found not guilty and discharged, the judge remarking that accused could consider himself fortunate that he had found such a jury. Ivan Walter William Hanning, who pleaded guilty in the lower court to breaking and entering premises at Palmerston and stealing goods valued at £l3 6s 6d, was admitted to probation for three years. William McKinnell, on a charge of assaulting Henry Bayley, was fined £IOO. George Alexander Mason, who. was found guilty of dishonestly obtaining three pairs of socks valued at 15s 6d, and necktie valued at 4s 6d, was admitted to probation for a period of two years.
