Mr. John Ludbrook acted as best man, and Mrs. P. T. Williams presided at the organ. After the wedding a reception was held at the Paihia residence of Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Ludbrook, when a large number of relatives and friends of the bridegroom were present. Mrs. Ludbrook received her guests in an attractive dress of beige lace, red hat and bouquet to match. The guests were entertained at afternoon tea and the young couple left for their honeymoon amidst showers of confetti.
