Mrs. Arnett has returned to Auckland after a visit to Stratford, where she was the guest of her sister, Mrs. G. T. Walters. • * • Mrs. Lindsay Robertson and her daughter, of Courtville, are leaving by the Aorangi on Tuesday for a visit to Honolulu and TJ.S.A. * * * Mrs. C. Worth, who with her small son has been visiting her father in Christchurch, has returned to town. Mrs. Wall, of Wanganui, who has been making a stay in Auckland, returned South last night. Mr. and Mrs. Waterworth Tfeft for the South by the Limited last evening. * * * The Hon. G. J. Smith and Mrs. Smith, of Christchurch, were passengers for Wellington by the Limited last evening. Mrs. Blundell and Miss Blundell left Auckland by the express last evening for a visit to the South. • * * Mrs. Ebehurt, of Wellington, is staying at the Royal Hotel. Miss A. Wilson, of Wanganui, is at the Royal Hotel. * * * Mrs. Henderson, of Okaihau, is staying at the Star Hotel. * • * Mr. and Mrs. F. Barlow, of Christchurch, are at Hotel Cargen. Mr. and Mrs. R. Jamieson, of Victoria, British Columbia, are at the Grand Hotel. Hr. and Mrs. Walker, of Harrogate, England, are guests at the Grand Hotel. » Mrs. J. A. Peck, Dr. Grace A. Miss Jamieson, of Hastings, is staying at the Grand Hotel. * * * Mrs. Best, wife of Captain Best, M.C., who Is on furlough in Auckland from the Malay Straits, left for Wellington last night with her small daughter. * * * Lady Fergusson, wife of Admiral Sir James Fergusson, brother of the Gov-ernor-General, and her party, left for Wellington by train last evening. * * * Misses Ruby and Renee Hyde have left Christchurch on a holiday visit to Auckland. ... Mrs. Orton has returned to Wanganui from a holiday spent at Kawau and Auckland. * * * Mr. and Mrs. M. Porter are Wellington visitors to Auckland. Miss M. Harden has returned to Wanganui from a visit to Auckland. Mrs. M. Hibbert, of Auckland, is visiting Christchurch. Mrs. A. Morgan, of Gordonton, and the Misses Morgan (three) are spending a holiday at Brown’s Bay. Mr. and Mrs. W. King, of Heathcote, Alfred Street,, are leaving by the Aorangi on Tuesday on a visit to America, England and the Continent. Mrs. L. Stein and family, of Dannevirke, have returned from a visit to Auckland. * * * Mr. S. Cole, of Birkdale, and Mrs. H. J. Rendall, jun., of Ponsonby, returned to-day from a holiday at Hamilton and Matamata.
