CAPITOL

DOUBLE FEATURE PROGRAMME “Painting the Town,” now at the Capitol, Theatre, is a rollicking farce comedy of a small town hick who “crashes” Broadway with a score of trick inventions. In the role of bucolic wise-cracker, Glenn Try on is almost the . wliole show and establishes himself as one of the most promising comedians in the. business. William James Craft, the director, also wins a new standing in the industry by reason of the picture, say those who have seen it. The story, -which in no small way contributes to the laughmaking value of the picture, was written by Harry O. Hoyt. Members of the all-star cast, in addition to Patsy Ruth Miller and Glenn Tryqn, include George Fawcett, Charles Gerrard, Sidney Bracy, Monte Collins and Max Ascher. The second feature on the programme is “Ritzy,” starring Betty Bronson.
