GUIDE FOR TOURISTS

AN AUCKLAND VENTURE PUBLICITY SERVICE EXTENSION A publicity service that has been of inestimable value to Dominion visitors in Wellington during the past year has been extended to Aucklad. At the Strand Theatre, twice a week, films illustrative of the scenic and sporting potentialities of the Dominion will be shown, so that newlyarrived tourists may form an opinion of the particular resorts in New Zealand which would appeal most to their individual tastes. 1 The pictures are to be shown on Monday and Tuesday mornings, to coincide with the arrival of the overseas boats, and will be displayed for an hour between eleven and twelve o’clock in the morning. Tickets are not necessary to gain admittace, although complimentary invitations will be presented to tourists on the boats, and are obtainable from the Tourist Bureau, railway offices, and principal hotels.
