Miss Edna Rhodes, of Kemucra, left Auckland on Wednesday for a motor trip to Rotorua.
Mrs. Charles Court; has left town for Rotorua, where she will spend a few days.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Alison have left town by car for a visit to Rotorua.
Mr. and Mrs. Murdoch Smith, of Parnell, have returned to town after spending a launching holiday.
Miss Joy Bartley has left town for a short visit to Rotorua.
Mrs. David Friedlander and Miss Friedlander have returned to the South after spending a holiday in Auckland.
Mrs. Schnauer is an Auckland visitor to Palmerston North, and will later go down to Wellington. The Rev. A. C. Randerson, Mrs. Randerson and family have returned to Rotorua after spending a holiday in Auckland.
Miss Gwen Kenrick, who has been staying in Auckland, has returned to Rotorua'.
Mr. and Mrs. Crow, of Devonport, are spending a holiday in Rotorua.
Miss Allen, of Herne Bay, is at present staying in Rotorua.
Mrs. Mumford has returned to town after spending a holiday in Rotorua as the guest of Mrs. W. G. Kenrick.
Mrs. P. Napier and Miss M. Napier, of Shelly Beach Road, will leave on Tuesday" by the Aorangi for a visit to England.

Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Mac Neil, of Wellington, are paying a visit to Auck-. land.
Dr. Grace Peck returned to town this morning from Wellington.
Mrs. Borrie returned to this morning after a visit to the South.
Mrs. G. A. Wynne, who has been visiting Wellington, returned to Auckland this morning.
Mr. and Mrs. Baflow, of Christchurch, arrived in Auckland this morning from the South. ** . * Mr. and Mrs. F. B. Young, of Wellington, are in Auckland.
Mrs. G. W. Gower has returned to Hamilton after a visit to Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Dobbie, of Auckland, are staying at Mount Cook.
Miss D. Morton, of Auckland, is a visitor to Christchurch.
Mrs. W. F. Stewart, Miss Margery Stewart and Miss M. Ferguson have returned from a visit to Rotorua.
Dr. Howard Thomas and Mrs. Thomas have returned to Auckland after three weeks’ fishing at Taupo and Tokaanu.
Mrs. H. Biggs is an Auckland visitor to Frankton, and is the guest of her sisters, the Misses Jolly.
Miss Rosina Bensoji, of Brooklyn, Wellington, has returned from a visit to Auckland and Rotorua.
Mrs. A. G, Graham and Miss M. Graham, who have been staying at Mon Desir, Takapuna, have returned to town.
Mr. C. T. Rundle and Miss E. Rundle, of New Plymouth, are in Auckland on holiday and are staying with Mr. Rundle’s daughter, Mrs. T. B. Kay, of Wlieturangi Road, One Tree Hill.
Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Smith and family, of Okoroire, are staying at the Star Hotel.

Miss Coleman, who has been spending a holiday in Auckland, leaves for Sydney by the Tahiti.
Mrs. H. Lane has left by car for a short visit to Rotorua, accompanied by Miss D. Farquhar. Mr. and Mrs. R. Stevenson, of Hastings, are at the Commercial Hotel.
For the first time Princess Mary was the guest of honour at a, public dinner when she was entertained by the institute Francais du Royaume-Uni at the Mayfair Hotel. She has recently become a patron of the Institute. Princess Mary, who wore a dress of silver with a small tiara, was presented with a big bouquet of pink carnations by Mrs. Stanley Baldwin.
Mrs. Cooper, of Honolulu, a trained Holiday Bible* teacher, leaves by the Aorangi on Tuesday, after spending three months in Auckland as the guest of Mr. Lee Cowie, who invited her to Auckland in December for the purpose of opening the Holiday Bible school in the East Street Hall. The venture has been a decided success, and children. parents and visitors have enjoyed the novel system of combining practical religion with interesting handicrafts. Mrs. Cooper has been engaged since .the closing of the Holiday School in giving model lectures. Mrs. Stanton, of Mount Eden, will entertain Mrs. Cooper at a farewell party to-morrow afternoon, at which Mrs. Lee Cowie will give a short ad* dress.
