V MORRINSVILLE, To-day. ~ While travelling from Kawhia on Sunday, a party of MorrinsviPle motorists was attacked by a bull, and had a lively experience. They decided to bathe in a stream about 20 miles from Otorohanga and accordingly, left their car in an old roadway. The fcarty, which consisted of and Mrs. J. H. Ford, and their family, and Mrs. ~L: Browning, with two -children, had entered the water when the roar of a bull from the bank of the stream compelled attention. This; gave way to alarm when the bull was seen to cross a fairly wide bridge leading to the stream and charge in the direction of the bathers. They seized their clothing and dashed for the car, and drove off at full speed down the narrow road for about a quarter of a mile. KEEPING ' Here Mr. Ford decided to dress, but a shout recalled him to the car in time to see the buIL ambling toward the vehicle at a distance of less than 100yds.
